Last month, David Guetta told Billboard that his new collaboration with Sia, “Let’s Love,” was the result of his ambition to inspire the world and just “make a feel-good song.”
The legitimately ebullient track is the latest in a long string of collaborations for the duo and has already racked up more than 10 million plays on Spotify alone since its release on Sept. 11.
Out Thursday (October 1), the video for “Let’s Love” expands on the song’s very ’80s vibe, taking a cast of characters who seem to have some sort of superpowers (or are, at least, dressed like superheroes) through a cityscape that looks like a mash-up of Blade Runner, Chuck E. Cheese and The Capitol from The Hunger Games, but which also seems to be a sort of ’80s flashback vortex reachable through magic glowing masks.
There’s also inexplicably glowing retinas, some teen angst, a budding romance and a product placement for vodka. It’s a lot! Of fun! Watch the clip below.
