Seether Scores Seventh Mainstream Rock Songs No. 1 With ‘Dangerous’

The band leads for the first time since 2017.

Seether returns to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart with “Dangerous,” which jumps 3-1 on the tally dated Oct. 10.

The song is the South Africa-originated band’s seventh leader, all achieved since 2005, when its No. 1 run began with “Remedy,” which ruled for eight weeks beginning that June.

Before this week, Seether had last led Mainstream Rock Songs with “Let You Down,” for four weeks in May-June 2017. In between, the band notched two entries, “Betray and Degrade” (No. 2, January 2018) and “Against the Wall” (No. 19, August 2018).
