Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Drivers License’ Motors to Third Week Atop U.K. Chart

Coming in at No. 3 in Nathan Evans, the former postman-turned-viral star, whose remix of sea shanty “Wellerman” (Polydor), featuring 220 Kid & Billen Ted, catches a wave for a No. 3 bow.

It’s the highest-charting debut single by a Scottish artist on the Official Chart in nearly a decade, since Emeli Sande also hit No. 3 with “Heaven” back in 2011, according to the OCC.

Further down the list, London rapper Fredo grabs his ninth Top 40 single with “Back To Basics” (Since 93), new at No. 20, while U.S. singer and songwriter Sabrina Carpenter impacts the Official Chart for the first time with “Skin” (Island), new at No. 28.

Billie Eilish snags her ninth Top 40 with “Lo Vas A Olvidar” (Columbia/Interscope). It’s the first for her collaborator, Spanish artist Rosalia.

Over of the national albums chart, Bring Me The Horizon complete a sprint finish to take honors with Post Human: Survival Horror (RCA), their second leader.

The rockers’ EP initially peaked at No. 5 following its release in digital formats last October. With its rollout on CD and vinyl, Post Human goes to No. 1, passing the midweek leader Bicep’s Isles (Ninja Tune).

According to the OCC, 92% of Post Human’s chart sales last week were physical purchases.

Finally, Neil Diamond enjoys two late birthday gifts as his All-Time Greatest Hits (Capitol/UMC) returns to the chart at No. 18, and Classic Diamonds with the London Symphony Orchestra lifts 45-20 (Capitol). The legendary American singer and songwriter’s recordings surge following a BBC special to mark his 80th birthday.
