Among the 151 songs that appear on both global charts this week, their average sales breakdown is 52% in the U.S. and 48% internationally, according to MRC Data. “Celebrity” and “Esquema Preferido” surge to shares of 85% and 88%, respectively, outside the U.S.
Stream counts for both songs likewise skew higher for international territories, with a whopping 94% for “Celebrity” and, when rounded, 100% for “Esquema Preferido.” That’s compared to the week’s average of 76%.
Only one song on this week’s charts earns an even higher portion of its streams from outside the U.S. than “Esquema Preferido.” Yuuri’s “Dry Flower,” at No. 29 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 61 on the Global 200, received 13 million streams in the tracking week, almost all from international territories.
