Foo Fighters to Appear as Musical Guest on Post-Election ‘Saturday Night Live’

The Foo Fighters will be joining Dave Chappelle on this weekend’s (Nov. 7) episode of Saturday Night Live, serving as the musical guest in the sketch comedy series’ post-election episode.

The band, which is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its self-titled debut album, have performed on SNL seven times thus far. They also joined Mick Jagger when he hosted and performed on the show in 2012.

Chappelle will be hosting SNL for the second time. He first hosted the show in 2016, funny enough, the weekend after the election. An announcement on Twitter on Wednesday (Nov. 4) shows a snippet from his monologue four years ago, in which the comedian says, “America’s done it. We’ve actually elected an Internet troll as our president.”
