Watch Lady Gaga’s Speech at Biden Rally in Pennsylvania

Lady Gaga is making one final, powerful plea to voters to cast their ballots for Joe Biden. On the eve of Election Day on Nov. 2, the singer campaigned for the former vice president in Pittsburgh, PA. Before diving into her musical performance, she delivered an impassioned speech to voters at the drive-in rally, urging them to “be willing to do whatever it takes to stand up for what [they] believe in.”

“Now is the time to show up and vote like this country depends on it because it does.”

While the record number of early and mail-in ballots is certainly promising, Gaga explains around the four-minute mark that though it might be tempting, now is “not a time to feel confident and sit back.” “Right now is time for action. It’s time to muster all of our energy, every ounce of us, every ounce of hope and optimism and enthusiasm, every ounce of fear and frustration and discouragement, now is the time to show up and vote like this country depends on it because it does.” She reminded the crowd that the election may come down to Pennsylvania, a key battleground state, so it is crucial to vote in large numbers.

The “Rain On Me” singer ended her speech with a strong message criticizing Donald Trump and his offensive treatment of women: “To all the women and all the men with daughters and sisters and mothers, everybody, no matter how you identify, now is your chance to vote against Donald Trump – a man who believes his fame gives him the right to grab one of your daughters or sisters or mothers or wives by any part of their bodies.” Later in the evening, about an hour and 24 minutes into the rally, Gaga performed her hits “Shallow” and “You and I,” weaving in passionate remarks to vote for Biden. Ahead, watch the rally in full and get a closer look at Gaga’s appearances.
